Has Anyone Gotten the SDK Sample to Run?

I downloaded the IOS SDK, opened the sample in xCode and started it in the emulator. It asks you to log in, and it appears a user should generate right away. But I've got nothing. No Alohar UID available. Has anyone gotten this running? Am I missing a step?

    "Register new user" on the login screen will generate a new user for you. Worked for me at least.
